Since we visit Disney World for the first time en summer 2009, we love Disney and decided it’s going to be our new happy place. Our very first Disney Trip was on summer 2009, then we traveled in December 2010 & 2011, summer 2012 and we spent Christmas 2012 on our happy place.
How you can to do it? Well, is very easy, for our 2009 trip I take a part-time, I’m a teacher so I decide on work on tutoring after my classes. For the rest of the trips we decide to book a year before our trip date, so we can pay for it trough the year, you know that you only have to put $200.00 to book a Disney Trip.
You can price and book your trip on the Disney Website and then you can make payments up to 45 days before your arrival date. We choose the Magic Your Way Package plus Dining, very convenient because includes everything (park tickets, resort, complimentary transportation from and to the airport and to the parks and includes meals). It’s the better way for us because you don’t have to worry about extra money for meals or tickets. We decided that every time we receive our work payment we send some money for our trip, and when we receive our income taxes we use that money for our trip too.
We cut many things like visits to the movies & dinners at restaurants, but it worth it!! For my daughter clothes (because she wants Disney cloth) I check on The Disney Store Website for sales and special offers, I buy excellent items for our trips at great prices, cheaper than parks prices. We buy a Disney gift card so we don’t spend too much money on souvenirs. We enjoy our year planning our trip, because you can make advanced dinner reservations up to 180 days before your trip, and you can book dinner at the parks, at Disney Resorts, buffet style, a la carte style or with Characters. So when time arrives you have everything ready, without to have to do a loan to pay for a magical Disney trip. If we can do it, you can do it, a magical Disney trip worth the money and the wait time for your trip.
Lizbeth C My name is Lizbeth, I’m a teacher and I live in Puerto Rico with my DD age 9 and my husband. My dream was to visit Disney, that dream came true in the summer of 2009. I fell in love with Disney, so I decided at that moment, that we had to return. In December of 2010 we were there again, another special time because Disney decorated for the holiday’s is amazing. We went again in December 2011. We are planning my mom’s and niece first trip in summer of 2012. Now we are planning my father in law first trip for January 2013! In the future we want to do a Disney Cruise.
