Located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at the Polynesian, Kona Café is a perfect, casual, tropical spot to jump start your Disney morning.
Of course, one of the signature items on the menu is Tonga Toast, and if you have not tried it, is definitely an item to put on (and quickly cross off) your Disney bucket list! Simply put, Tonga Toast is French toast made from a huge slice of sourdough bread, stuffed with bananas, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a strawberry compote. It comes with your choice of sausage, bacon or ham.
Other items include variations of pancakes, French toast, and eggs- the next menu item I’d like to try is macadamia-pineapple pancakes, which sounds delicious. The entire menu can be viewed here.
You can’t go wrong with a reservation here: our server was friendly and engaging, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we definitely intend on returning for breakfast again later in the year. Kona Café does accept the dining plan and Tables in Wonderland.

Tried the Tonga Toast (finally!!!) on our last trip in January. A delicious meal! Very yummy. A little too sugary for me to eat as a breakfast item. I wish you could get this as a snack later on in the day!
Sounds yummy!
